The Park Avenue Chamber Symphony is established to be a cultural and philanthropic resource for the community. Its mission is to:

• Support and celebrate music education by featuring young artists, commissioning new works from young composers, honoring music educators and financially contributing to educational institutions.
• Support public service organizations through benefit concerts featuring the orchestra.
• Offer professional-level music making experience to non-professional musicians.
• Provide a vital educational and cultural resource to the New York City community.
