About the Soloist

Ginger Anders is a 1995 graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music’s Young Artist Program and has  studied at the International String Workshops in Graz, Austria. Ginger graduated summa cum laude from Yale University in 1999, with a B.A. in East Asian studies and graduated Columbia Law School in 2002.
    Ginger studied violin with Syoko Aki while at Yale, and also studied with David and Linda Cerone.  She has won numerous local and regional competitions and has frequently performed in recital and with orchestra, including the Yale Symphony Orchestra.
     Ginger is currently a Clerk for Judge Sonia Sotomayor of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and will soon be clerking for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  Ginger has been a member of the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony since 2002.
