She enjoys playing a Baroque-style flute and has been featured in Christmas candlelight tours at historical societies in Westchester County. Barbara received a Bachelor's of Music Degree from Michigan State University and also attended Hartt College of Music as a flute major. After working as a music therapist for several years at a school in New York City, Barbara obtained graduate degrees and pursued careers in both social work and law, ultimately returning to music. For the past five years Barbara has attained certification as a Suzuki clinician and is currently teaching flute to students at the Allen-Stevenson School in Manhattan.

Alok Dutt has been playing the violin since the age of seven. Most of his musical training was conducted in the UK, first with John Varney and subsequently with Barry Haskey, principal violinist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Alok has been the recipient of several national awards for both violin and piano, and was concertmaster of the National Youth Orchestra and the Cambridge University Symphony Orchestra where he was awarded a music scholarship. After completing his BA in mathematics from Cambridge, Alok came to to the US and received a PhD in Numerical Analysis at Yale University. Since graduating from Yale, he has performed regularly with PACS and other orchestral and chamber groups both in New York and in London where he lived prior to returning here in 2001. In addition, Alok is an accomplished Indian classical musician; he plays frequently in concerts and music festivals and has performed at the Indian Consulate in New York City. When he is not playing music, Alok can be found at the offices of Morgan Stanley, his employer, where he is an options trader and a specialist in financial modeling.
