About the Soloist
English Flutist Crispian Fordham began his flute
studies at the age of ten, studying at the Guildhall Junior School of Music
in London. Mr. Fordham is currently in his final year of the Bachelor’s
degree program at the Mannes College of Music, where he studies with Keith
Underwood. From 1998 to 1999 he was principal flutist of the New York Youth
Symphony Orchestra, performing at Canergie Hall. Mr. Fordham attended the
Aspen Music Festival as a scholarship student during the summers of 1998 and
1999. Recent appearances include several performances in the Mannes College
of Music “Mannes Bach 2000
